Thornes Park Campus
Thornes Park Campus combines a beautiful parkland
setting with a unique range of facilities for the
study of Performing Arts and Music, Art, Design,
Media and Communications, Business and Management,
Sport and Public Services. Courses are offered at
all levels up to and including Higher Education and
Professional Qualifications.
Students on
Performing Arts and Music courses have access to
superb resources, which include a 220 seat theatre,
dance, drama and recording studios and practice,
recital and rehearsal rooms.
State of the art multimedia
and Apple Macintosh suites allow students in art,
media and design to work on the latest software for
digital imaging, video editing, animation and web
page design, alongside their traditional art and
design studies. The Campus also boasts fully equipped
studios for the study of both traditional and digital
photography.
On site sport facilities include an
indoor heated swimming pool, sports hall, gymnasium,
fitness testing and climbing wall. Students also
have the use of the pitches close by.
The Learning
Centre at Thornes Park Campus offers quiet areas
for study and is served by the latest computer software
and Internet access.
The Campus is also home to the
College’s Centre
of Vocational Excellence for Management and Enterprise
and its management centre houses conference facilities,
and a range of seminar and syndicate rooms, all equipped
to the highest standards and easily accessible.
There
is free parking for 300 cars, with CCTV surveillance
and 24 hour security to ensure a secure environment
for all our students.
