How many tickets can I get?
All graduands are entitled to 2 tickets. There may also be a limited number of extra tickets available. These are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis by adding your name to a waiting list. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your requested number of extra tickets. If you think you may require extra tickets please contact Gill Barker - see Contact Us.
What time should I arrive?
Wakefield Town Hall will be open from 9.30am for registration, photography and robing services. Upon arrival you can either register immediately or be robed and photographed first, but we do ask that you register by 11.30am at the latest.
Will I received my certificate on the day?
Graduands will not receive their award certificate at the ceremony - this is usually posted out to you. However, you will receive a commemorative certificate on the day.
Can you help with special dietary or mobility provision?
If you or any of your guests have any dietary requirements (vegetarian/gluten free etc) or mobility problems, please can you let us know, as in most cases we can help.
Can children attend the Ceremony?
Children are welcome at the Graduation Ceremony, but we do ask that noise is kept to a minimum during the formal parts of the event.
Where do I register and park?
Town Hall reception, registration, gowning and photography are all located in Wakefield Town Hall. There is limited free parking on-site. Pay and display parking is available on Margaret Street and Newstead Road, behind the College; there is also a large multi-storey car park on Rishworth Street, 3 minutes’ walk from the Campus.
