How to Apply

All full-time HND and Foundation Degree courses must be applied for through Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).

You can obtain a UCAS application materials from your school or college from September 2007

N.B The UCAS form must be returned to UCAS and not sent to the College.

UCAS Timetable Important Dates
There are different dates to be aware of when making an application and waiting for decisions from your chosen universities and colleges.

1 September 2007 - UCAS begins accepting forms for entry in 2007.

15 January 2008- Official deadline for most applications to UCAS.

16 January 2008 to 30 June 2008 - UCAS will continue to accept applications but will stamp them ‘late’. They will still be given consideration by Wakefield College.

30 June 2008 - Applications received after 30 June are entered in ‘Clearing’.

Mid-July 2008 - 31 August 2008 - Exam results reach UCAS and you find out whether your conditional offer has been finally accepted.

Part-time Courses
For Part-time HND, HNC Foundation Degree and professional course applications should be made direct to Wakefield College and not through UCAS. Please contact course information on 01924 789111.
