SUMMARY

There was an air of jubilation amongst staff and students at Wakefield College after the class of 2011 achieved another set of excellent A-level results. Figures revealed last night showed that the overall pass rate exceeded 95% for the 7th year in succession, and backed up the College’s most recent Ofsted report which judged A-level success rates to be outstanding.

AS level students also had reasons to smile, as the proportion achieving high A to C grades improved significantly on last year. Individual successes included three students who picked up straight A grades.
