College opens its doors

Staff and visitors alike enjoyed a mutually beneficial and very useful event when Wakefield College’s Whitwood Campus welcomed members of the public to an Open Evening last week.

The atmosphere throughout the Campus was busy and bustling, with a continuous flow of interested visitors in all areas. Some 320 people came through the doors, the great majority of whom said they intend to enrol on a course at the College in September. They described staff as helpful and friendly and were impressed with the facilities on show, the range of courses available, and the obvious expertise of the tutors.
