College students complete Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award

Some of the students with their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh certificates

Over 50 Wakefield College students received their certificates for completing the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.

The award is made up of a mixture of volunteering, physical activity and skills activity - each lasting 3 months, and an overnight expedition. Over the past year they have taken part in riot training days with The Police, driving lessons, and wild camping in Snowdonia, North Wales.

With College they can continue to complete the Silver and Gold awards.
