College to open up Children’s University to all

Young children from across the District are being urged to take part in an exciting new venture which is already benefitting the learning needs of over 2000 children. Wakefield Childrens’ University, spearheaded by Wakefield College in conjunction with a number of partners, is part of a national organisation aimed at providing exciting out-of-school activities for 5 -14 year olds.

Proving once again to be one of the hottest tickets in town, the two night Upload Festival celebrates the best that Wakefield College music students have to offer, with a number of bands performing an extensive catalogue of styles from original music to classic songs which will rock the summer evenings.
