Directions

From M1 Northbound

1. Leave the M1 at junction 39 and join the A636 towards Wakefield.
2. Turn left after the third roundabout onto the B6475, Thornes Road and then turn right into Gill Sike Road.
3. Turn right onto the A642, Horbury Road and take the first on the right into the access drive to the College site.

From M1 Southbound

1. Leave the M1 at junction 40 and join the A638 towards Wakefield.
2. Turn right onto the B6475, George-a-Green Road and at the A642, Horbury Road, turn left towards the town centre.
3. The access drive to the College is the second on the right.

By Train

15 minute walk or short taxi journey from Westgate station.
15 minute walk or short taxi journey from Kirkgate station.

Sat nav tip: Our Thornes Park Campus is located in the centre of Thornes Park. Direct access to the Campus and the free Campus car parking is only possible from the Horbury Road side of the Park, but some satellite navigation systems will try to direct you to the Campus via one of the other Park access points. Use the postcode WF2 8TY to be directed to the correct entrance to Thornes Park.
