Apprenticeships

We work with top companies including Coca-Cola, Haribo and Next,
and you can too!

Apprenticeships are a great mix of handson learning in the workplace and theory learned with us in College to give you the practical skills and knowledge you’ll need to thrive in the working world.

They’re for anyone aged 16 or over and they allow you to earn and learn at the same time, meaning you have great prospects for the future!

We offer three levels of apprenticeship

Level Qualification equivalent to Minimum entry requirements Duration
Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship 5 GCSEs grade A*-C GCSEs in English Language and Maths at grade A*-D 1-2 years
Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship 2 or more A Levels 5 GCSEs grade A*-C 1-2 years
Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship Foundation degree, HNC Diploma, or HND Diploma To find out, call our Course Information Team on 01924 789111 Up to 2 years

After completing your apprenticeship, you can progress to higher level apprenticeships or higher education here with us at College on one of our many university level courses.

Earning while you learn

A National Minimum Wage (NMW) for apprentices has been introduced for young people aged 16 - 18 and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. A rate of £3.30 per hour applies to working time plus time spent training as this is also part of the Apprenticeship.
