I chose to study at Wakefield College because of the opportunities available both during and after the course which prepare you for a better future. As part of my course I visited Italy, were we did exciting activities like white water rafting, and up-sailing. I volunteered as a Football Activator which enhanced my communication and team-working skills, I got the FA Level 1 football coaching badge and we visited Wembley stadium for training. I’ve particularly enjoyed learning about sports psychology and the importance of being mentally prepared when performing. Overall I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being a student and I’ve seen myself develop because the College has been a springboard to push me towards my aspirations.
