Wakefield College is pleased to launch a brand-new youth work course starting in September 2019 working in partnership with The Youth Association. The Youth Association (TYA) has been successfully delivering innovative support for young people across South and West Yorkshire since 1904. The charity works with young people in various settings, helping them identify their aspirations and make progress towards achieving these. Projects prioritise young people facing multiple needs, disadvantages and barriers, with the intention of increasing social and economic life chances.

Wakefield College approved as a Welder Coding Centre

Wakefield College has been approved by The Welding Institute (TWI) as a Certified Welder Training Centre making the College one of only a few Certified Training Centres in the whole of the Yorkshire and Humberside region.
