Art students partner with Cannon Hall Farm to celebrate 30th anniversary

Level 1 Art, Design and Media students have teamed up with Cannon Hall Farm to design a mural to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its opening this March.

In a collaborative project that involved 14 students from the Level 1 Diploma in Art, Design and Media, learners came together to generate ideas, pitch these in a live brief and create the final mural, all within a seven-week period.

The project proved to be a fantastic opportunity for the learners to develop their artistic abilities, whilst also completing key course units in communication and problem-solving.

The final 4ft x 16ft mural is to be installed along one of the barn walls, on display for thousands of visitors to view this coming Spring/Summer.
