Level 3 Plumbing students visiting the BAM construction site at Leeds Playhouse

Level 3 Plumbing students at Wakefield College visiting the BAM construction site at Leeds Playhouse on Thursday 27th September to get an insight into the work going on at the famous theatre. 

Leeds Playhouse, until recently known as West Yorkshire Playhouse, was handed over to contractors BAM Construction to start work on the multi-million pound development. 

The students had a tour of the site with explanations of each stage of work BAM were invovled with. The excavations of the site discovered an 18th century grave, which gave students the added bonus of hearing from archaeologists explaining their work too.
