Construction Student Awards Work Placements castleford

Students with their awards

Every year the CIOB (The Chartered Institute of Building) helps colleges celebrate the achievements of their construction students, by recognising their efforts and successes.

This year, the CIOB Leeds Hub recognised four students studying Construction at level 3 as deserving of an award. Patryk Lobocki, who is studying to become an Architect; Bradley Gardner, who is studying to become a Civil Engineer; Aiesha Sheard, who is studying to become a Site Manager and Adam Chapman, who is studying Electrical Installations.

"We have a fantastic relationship with the CIOB, and I am so pleased and so proud, to see our students being recognised for their hard work and commitment to their studies and chosen career paths," said Debbie Lee, Work Placement Officer.

Whilst all received a certificate to acknowledge their achievements and a boxed gift card, the awards ceremony could not take place. Instead, socially distanced, individual awards were presented on the students’ doorsteps.

Congratulations to all four!
