On Thursday 29^th April the AAC Apprenticeship Awards held their National Finalists Ceremony online. The Apprenticeships team at Wakefield College are proud to announce they have been shortlisted as a national finalist for the Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Apprenticeships Provider award. The awards, established in 2017, are a joint project by FE Week and AELP that celebrate excellence in apprenticeship delivery in the UK and provide an opportunity to give the recognition employers and providers deserve.  

Joanne Taylor, Executive Director of Employer Engagement and Apprenticeships at Wakefield College said “The apprenticeship team are delighted to have been shortlisted, from over 350 nominations, in what is a highly contested category. This fantastic achievement is a testament to the professionalism in and commitment of the team who, working with employers, strive to develop the delivery of bespoke apprenticeship programs that align to organisational needs and respond to industry demands.”

The awards ceremony and gala dinner event will be held on Thursday 8^th July at the ICC, Birmingham.
