Our Sixth Form offers a wide range of advanced level programmes in addition to a growing number of A Levels.

We offer a distinctive learning experience for students in our Sixth Form, which provides a stepping stone between school and university. Our students speak highly of the excellent working relationships they build with their teachers who are experts in their field.

Wakefield College celebrates A Level results

A Level students from Wakefield College’s Sixth Form have demonstrated their hard work and resilience after the class of 2020 achieved another strong set of results. Figures revealed last night showed students achieved an overall pass rate of 97% - the 17th year running the result has exceeded 95%.

A Level students from Wakefield College’s Sixth Form have once again demonstrated hard work and determination after the class of 2018 achieved another strong set of results.

Being at Wakefield College has been a good experience because of the support network of the teachers during my A levels, alongside the excellent teaching. I chose the College because of the amount of independence students get, and I felt that this would be a good stepping stone between sixth form and university.
