New T Level Qualification a hit with the first T Level Students at Wakefield College

Tuesday, 09 November, 2021

T Levels are a new 2-year post GCSE qualification for 16-19 year olds that are being rolled out across England. Wakefield College launched its T Level offer this September with the first T Level students kicking it off in style.

I started the Foundation Degree in Young Children’s Learning & Development, having completed the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. As a result I’m now a qualified Nursery Nurse.

I did the Level 3 in Childcare at Wakefield College then got a job as a teaching assistant and stayed on to do the Foundation Degree which I hope to top up to a full degree. In the long term, I want to be a teacher.
