Our School of Popular Music has a rich mix of students and music interests and a strong reputation for developing highly successful, rounded musicians and industry professionals.

Career opportunities in the music industry extend well beyond performance. If you don’t see yourself as a performer, you may aspire to a career as a sound engineer, songwriter, producer, promoter, teacher, manager, backline technician, sound designer or composer.

Whatever your enthusiasm, it’ll be nurtured by working interactively with your fellow students with the guidance of tutors who are dedicated to enabling you to fulfil your potential.

New music studios

New studios are taking shape! Still to go in main studios are the Focusrite Claret Pre X and Claret OctoPre’s. Our new home will have five 16-track studios, all running Pro Tools 2019, Logic Pro X, Cubase Pro 10 and Native Instruments Komplete 12 Ultimate. Looking forward to a creative 19/20 academic…
